Hon. Jayantha Samaraweera,— To ask the Minister of Highways, Road Development and Petroleum Resources Development,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) the number of road expansions and improvements to be completed as at 31.12.2015 by the Road Development Authority;
(ii) the district wherein the said projects were located, the name of the project and the estimated amount;
(iii) the district wherein the projects to be completed as at 31.12.2016 were located, the name of the project and the estimated amount;
(iv) the district wherein the projects to be completed as at 31.12.2017 were located, the name of the project and the estimated amount;
(v) the number of contracts of which the overall progress became zero;
(vi) the reasons for overall progress becoming zero; and
(vii) the measures to be taken in that regard by the Ministry?
(b) If not, why?
