Hon. Jayantha Samaraweera,— To ask the Minister of Public Enterprise, Kandyan Heritage and Kandy Development,—
(a) Will he inform this House —
(i) whether he will submit a detailed description of the statutory allowances paid to the employees of Janatha Estate Development Board, including the benefits of the Employees Provident Fund and the Employees Trust Fund, during the period from the year 2015 up to 2018, separately for each year;
(ii) the cumulative total of the allowances that have not been paid yet, separately for each year; and
(iii) the number of cases filed by the Labour Commissioner’s Office in regard to the non-payment of the contributions of the aforesaid Funds?
(b) If not, why?
