Hon. Kanaka Herath,— To ask the Minister of Transport & Civil Aviation,—
(a) Will he inform this House –
(i) of the cadre of the Civil Aviation Authority;
(ii) of the permanent cadre and the staff employed under the contract basis;
(iii) separately of the age limits of the Director General, Additional Director General, Deputy Director General and the Directors in charge of the sections of the Civil Aviation Authority; and
(iv) of the number of consultants in the Authority and their age limits?
(b) Will he also inform this House whether it has been planned to deploy a group of qualified next-in-line officers to fill the vacancies occurrence in the cadre with the retirement of the officers of the Civil Aviation Authority?
(c) If not, why?
