To ask the Minister of Health ,— Will he inform this House — whether the construction work of the new operating theatre complex of the Matale General Hospital has been completed and that operating theatre complex has been handed over to the Hospitals Authority; the dates of commencement and completion of the construction work of this new operating theatre complex; if the construction work of the aforesaid operating theatre complex is now completed the reasons for delaying the opening of it up to now; whether action will be taken to open this new building immediately; if so, the date on which it will be opened ? Will he submit to this House separately, the amount of money spent to construct the aforesaid new operating theatre complex and fix air conditioners and other basic equipment? If not, why?
