Hon. Mohamadu Nazeer,—To ask the Minister of Justice & Prison Reforms,—
(a) Will she state —
(i) the names of the Quazi jurisdictions operating in the island under the Muslim Marriage and Divorce Act;
(ii) the names and addresses of the Quazi Judges in the aforementioned jurisdictions;
(iii) with reference to each of the aforementioned Quazi Judges, the dates of their appointment and the dates on which their term of office will end; and
(iv) educational, professional and other qualifications possessed by each of the aforesaid Quazi Judges?
(b) Will she also state the educational, professional and other qualifications which are taken into consideration when appointing Quazi Judges under the abovementioned Act?
(c) If not, why?
