Hon. (Dr.) Nalinda Jayathissa,— To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Rural Economic Affairs, Livestock Development, Irrigation and Fisheries & Aquatic Resources Development,—
(a) Will he inform this House —
(i) of the date on which the government decided to ban glyphosate;
(ii) of the reasons for taking such a decision;
(iii) of the organizations of experts or individuals who made recommendations for that ban;
(iv) of the date on which the government decided to lift the ban on glyphosate;
(v) of the reasons for taking such a decision; and
(vi) of the organizations of experts or individuals who made recommendations for lifting that ban?
(b) If not, why?
