Hon. (Dr.) Nalinda Jayathissa,— To ask the Minister of Health, Nutrition & Indigenous Medicine,—
(a) Will he inform this House on per year basis, separately—
(i) kinds of drugs imported in number and the amount of money spent for it;
(ii) the value of the drugs imported for the public sector; and
(iii) the value of the drugs imported to be sold in the open market;
by the State Pharmaceutical Corporation (SPC) in the years 2015, 2016 and 2017?
(b) Will he inform this House on per year basis, separately—
(i) kind of drugs manufactured in number and the market value of the drugs;
(ii) the value of the drugs provided to government hospitals and the value of the drugs sold in the open market out of the drugs manufactured;
by the State Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Corporation (SPMC) in the years 2015, 2016 and 2017?
(c) If not , why?
