Hon. Chaminda Wijesiri,— To ask the Minister of Education,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) the number of non-academic employees serving under the Ministry of Education of the Uva Province;
(ii) the positions held by them currently;
(iii) whether he is aware that these employees have not been granted due promotions even though they have been recruited under Circular 06/2006; and
(iv) the measures to be initiated by the Ministry to solve their problems ?
(b) If not, why?
