Hon. M. Joseph Michael Perera,— To ask the Minister of Finance and Planning,—
(a) Is he aware that —
(i) the open competitive examination to recruit Tax Officers of Grade II of Class III of Sri Lanka Inland Revenue Service was held in year 2006;
(ii) out of the 16,000 candidates who sat for the aforesaid examination, about 1000 were called for interviews;
(iii) 550 out of them were granted appointments with effect from 1st April 2007;
(iv) among the recipients of those appointments, there are persons who had not graduated by the date given in the gazette notification issued in 2006 with relevance to this examination ?
(b) Will he inform this House of —
(i) the name, address and marks scored with relevance to each of the candidates who received appointments as Tax Officers, separately ;
(ii) the marks scored at the examination and the interview by Mrs. W.A.S.M. Sovis who resides at No. 76/C, Tudella, Ja_Ela East and faced the interview at 9.30 a.m. on 08.12.2006 ?
(c) If not , why?
