Hon. Dayasiri Jayasekara,— To ask the Minister of Public Administration & Disaster Management,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) in respect of each district separately, the number of people affected from the flash floods that occurred in May 2018;
(ii) the number of lives lost;
(iii) the number of houses that have been damaged;
(iv) the amount of money allocated by the government for disaster relief activities;
(v) the amount of money paid as compensation;
(vi) the number of families to whom the compensations have been paid;
(vii) number of families to whom the compensation have not been paid by now; and
(viii) the reason as to why compensations have not been paid?
(b) If not, why?
