Hon. Hesha Withanage,— To ask the Minister of City Planning, Water Supply and Higher Education,—
(a) Will he admit that—
(i) a water project was planned to be initiated in Werahera, Godakawela in the district of Rathnapura but it was suspended on the way; and
(ii) the residents of the area are severely inconvenienced owing to this?
(b) Will he inform this House—
(i) whether the construction work of the aforesaid project will be expedited as planned;
(ii) whether provisions have been made for that; and
(iii) if so, of the date on which its construction work would be commenced?
(c) If not, why?
