Hon. Hesha Withanage,— To ask Minister of Health, Nutrition & Indigenous Medicine,—
(a) Will he inform this House in regard to Embilipitiya Base Hospital—
(i) the number of wards;
(ii) the number of beds for patients; and
(iii) the number of surgical theatres?
(b) Will he state—
(i) whether he admits the fact that though this hospital provides services covering a large area, it does not have enough facilities to facilitate for the provision of services to such a large area; and
(ii) if so, the steps that will be taken in that regard?
(c) If not, why?
