Hon. Hesha Withanage, — To ask the Minister of Education,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) separately of the number of graduate teachers and teachers who have obtained diplomas from colleges of education, serving in the Sabaragamuwa Province as at present;
(ii) separately of the number of graduate teachers who were attached to the Sabaragamuwa province subsequent to the coming into power of the good governance government and the number of graduate teachers recruited during the aforesaid period; and
(iii) of the steps taken by the Ministry to fill the dearth of graduate teachers and teachers from Colleges of Education which is prevalent in the Sabaragamuwa province?
(b) If not, why?
