Hon. Hesha Withanage,— To ask the Minister of Housing, Construction and Cultural Affairs,—
(a) Will he inform this House —
(i) of the total number of Udagam Housing Projects that were commenced during the period from 2010 to 2015;
(ii) of the methodology that was adopted in selecting the recipients of houses of those housing projects;
(iii) of the total number of persons to whom relief has been received through those projects as beneficiaries; and
(iv) whether he will admit that taking necessary action through National Housing Development Authority to provide adequate assistance to the homeless people of the country has been neglected?
(b) If not, why?
