To ask the Minister of Agriculture,— Will he state— the number of stores that belonged to the Paddy Marketing Board at its inception ; the location of each of the aforesaid stores ; separately, the capacity of each store ; the number of employees who served in each store ; and the number of vehicles that belonged to the Paddy Marketing Board at its inception? Will he submit to this House— the number of paddy stores that belong to the government at present ; the places where those paddy stores are located ; separately, the capacity of each of those stores and the number of employees attached to each of them ; and the types of the vehicles allocated for purchasing paddy and the number of vehicles so allocated? Will he state with respect to the last 5 years— the amount of paddy purchased by each store separately, during the Yala and Maha seasons ; the purchasing price of paddy ; the selling price of paddy ; and the amount of paddy destroyed out of the stocks of paddy purchased during the aforesaid period of time? If not, why?
