Hon. Anura Dissanayaka,— To ask the Minister of Resettlement,—
(a) Will he inform this House of—
(i) the number of children living in the Northern area who have lost their parents due to war ;
(ii) the number of school children among them ; and
(iii) the number of children who are attending school by now, out of the number of children mentioned in the answer for (ii) above?
(b) Will he inform this House, of the programmes that have been launched for the benefit of the aforesaid children who have lost their parents and the children who are not attending school out of them?
(c) If not, why?
