Hon. Mohan Priyadarshana De Silva,— To ask the Minister of Disaster Management,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) separately, of the total amount of money that the National Buildings Research Organization has spent in 2009 for investigations of land slides in the public and private sectors ;
(ii) whether that organization charges a fee for investigations of land slides in the public sector ;
(iii) the total income earned by that organization in 2009 through carrying out investigation of land slides in the private sector?
(b) Will he submit to this House—
(i) whether a project is in operation for collecting data on disaster zones to minimize the damage caused by land slides ;
(ii) if so, what that project is?
(c) If not, why?
