Hon. Arundika Fernando,— To ask the Minister of Ports and Aviation,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) separately, of the number of ships that came to the Colombo harbor;
(ii) annual container throughput of the Colombo harbor;
(iii) the total income earned by the Colombo harbor;
in the years 2007,2008 and 2009?
(b) Will he inform this House—
(i) whether there is a proposed programme for increasing the income of the Colombo harbor in the coming years;
(ii) if so, what that programme is?
(c) If not, why?
