Hon. Thushara Indunil Amarasena,—To ask the Minister of Housing and Construction,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) whether a programme has been implemented by the Ministry to construct houses or complete the construction of partially built houses for kidney patients in Kurunegala distrct where kidney disease is spreading, as those kidney patients have to spend a lot of money for their drugs;
(ii) if so, the names and addresses of the persons who received assistance, as per Divisional Secretariat Division; and
(iii) of the steps taken by the Ministry for island wide extension of this programme in the entire district in future?
(b) If not, why?
