Hon. Thushara Indunil Amarasena,—To ask the Minister of Agriculture,—
(a) Will he inform this House —
(i) of the number of farmers that received compensation from the Agricultural and Agrarian Insurance Board due to the prevalent drought;
(ii) whether the list of farmers in Kurunegala District who received compensation in the above manner will be submitted separately on the basis of each Divisional Secretariat Division;
(iii) separately of the amount of money paid as compensation to each farmer in the Kurunegala District; and
(iv) of the criteria taken into consideration when granting the aforementioned compensation?
(b) If not, why?
