Private Members’ Bills
The Hon. Neranjan Wickremasinghe was granted leave to introduce the Bill, entitled
Arundika Fernando Relief Services and Godfrey Fernando Memorial Foundation (Incorporation)
The above Bill was referred to the Minister of Social Services for report to Parliament under Standing Order 47 (5).
Main Business of the House for Today
The following Items (appearing as Item Nos. 1 to 7 of today’s Order Paper) were passed by the House:-
(i) Sri Lanka Atomic Energy Bill – with amendments
(ii) Six Orders under the Special Commodity Levy Act
Adjournment Motion
Adjournment Motion on “Regulations passed by Parliament on 09.10.2014 under the Convention against Doping in Sports Act” was moved by the Hon. Eran Wickramaratne.
The Parliament was, thereafter adjourned at 1945 Hrs. until 1330 Hrs. on Friday 24th October 2014.
