Regulations made by the Minister of Transport under Section 237, read with Section 19 of the Motor Traffic Act, (Chapter 203) (Gazette Extraordinary No. 1795/35 of 31.01.2013)


Main Business of the House for Today

Following Items (appearing as Item Nos. 1 to 3 of today’s Order Paper) were passed by the House:-

(i) Regulations under the Agrarian Development Act
(ii) Regulations under the Import and Export (Control) Act
(iii) Regulations under Motor Traffic Act


Motion at the Adjournment Time

Motion at the Adjournment Time on “Working class appreciation of May Day celebration” was moved by the Hon. Arundika Fernando.


The Parliament was, thereafter adjourned at 1855 Hrs. until 1300 Hrs. on Thursday 9th May 2013.
