(i) Supplementary Allocations from the Budgetary Support Services and Contingency Liabilities Project appearing under Expenditure Head No. 240 of the Department of National Budget - 2012 under Section 6(1) of the Appropriation Act, No. 52 of 2011.

Annual Reports of the;

(ii) National Education Commission for the year 2011
(iii) Co-operative Wholesale Establishment for the year 2009
(iv) Sugathadasa National Sports Complex Authority for the years 2008 and 2009


Main Business of the House for Today

(i) Divineguma Bill - Second Reading (appearing as Item No. 1 of today’s Order Paper) was moved and adjourned for a future date.

(ii) Select Committee of Parliament (appearing as Item No. 2 of today’s Order Paper) to discuss the Heads of Expenditure of the Ministries selected from the Budget Estimates of the year 2013 was passed by Parliament.


Adjournment Motion

Adjournment Motion on "Implementation of the rule of law in the country" was moved by the Hon. Mangala Samaraweera.


The Parliament was, thereafter adjourned at 1850 Hrs. until 1250 Hrs. on Thursday 08th November 2012.
