Presentation of Bills

Ranaviru Seva Authority (Amendment)

The Hon. Leader of the House of Parliament moved a Bill to amend the Ranaviru Seva Authority Act, No. 54 of 1999.


The Hon. Buddhika Pathirana was granted leave to introduce the Bill, entitled "Child Rehabilitation Centre (Incorporation)".

The Hon. Hunais Farook was granted leave to introduce the Bill, entitled "Al-Jamiathul Islamiyyah Arabic College (Incorporation)".


Adjournment Motion

Adjournment Motion on “North East Situation” was moved by the Hon. Rajavarothiam Sampanthan.


The Parliament was, thereafter adjourned at 1830 Hrs. until 1300 Hrs. on Tuesday 18th September 2012.
