Presentation of Papers

(i) Resolution under Section 10 of the Customs Ordinance (Chapter 235) relating to import duties. (Gazette Extraordinary No. 1751/27 of 30.03.2012)
(ii) Administration Reports of the National Library and Documentation Services Board for the years 2000 and 2008
(iii) Annual Report of the State Engineering Corporation of Sri Lanka for the year 2009


The Hon. J. R. P. Suriyapperuma was granted leave to introduce the Bill, entitled "Abhimani Social Development and Cultural Foundation (Incorporation)".


Main Business of the House for Today

Following Items (appearing as Item Nos. 1 to 9 of today’s Order Paper) were passed by the House:-

• Regulations under the Imports and Exports (Control) Act
• Eight Resolutions under the Appropriation Act


Motion at the Adjournment Time

Motion at the Adjournment Time on "Special training on state policy etc. for Public service recruitments" was moved by the Hon. Shantha Bandara.


The Parliament was, thereafter adjourned at 1929 Hrs. until 1300 Hrs. on Wednesday 23rd May 2012.
