The Privilege motion that the question of privilege arising out of the matter raised by Hon. Palitha Range Bandara, M.P. in Parliament on December 20th, 2011, moved by the Hon. John Amaratunga was referred to the Committee on Privileges under Standing Order 127.


The Hon. Chamika Buddhadasa was granted leave to introduce the Bill, entitled "Anura Vidanagamage Praja Sanwardana Padanama (Incorporation)".


Main Business of the House for Today

Two Regulations under the National Aquaculture Development Authority of Sri Lanka Act

were passed by the House.


Motion at the Adjournment Time

Motion at the Adjournment Time on “Upliftment of Soccer in Sri Lanka” was moved by the Hon. (Al-Haj) A.H.M. Azwer.


The Parliament was, thereafter adjourned at 1910 Hrs. until 1300 Hrs. on Wednesday 21st March 2012.
