The Hon. Sunil Handunnetti was granted leave to introduce the Bill, entitled "Association of Community Pharmacists of Sri Lanka (Incorporation)".

The Hon. Ruwan Ranatunga was granted leave to introduce the Bill, entitled "Roshan Ranasinghe Janasahana Foundation (Incorporation)".

The Hon. Thilanga Sumathipala was granted leave to introduce the following Bills:-

• Meth Seva Foundation (Incorporation)
• Sith Sevana Mentally Handicapped Children’s Development Organisation (Incorporation)


Main Business of the House for Today

Following Items (appearing as Item Nos. 1 to 3 of today’s Order Paper) were passed by the House:-

• Housing Development Finance Corporation Bank of Sri Lanka (Amendment) Bill
• Two Orders under the Excise Ordinance


Adjournment Motion

Adjournment Motion on "Law and Order in the Country" was moved by the Hon. John Amaratunga.
