Main Business of the House for Today

Following Items (appearing as Item Nos. 1 and 2 of today’s Order Paper) were passed by the House:-

• Order under the Strategic Development Projects Act - A Division was taken (58 in favour; 04 against)
• Order under the State Industrial Corporation Act


Motion at the Adjournment Time

Motion at the Adjournment Time on “Problems of employees at Lanka Salt Limited, Hambantota” was moved by the Hon. Sajith Premadasa.


The Parliament was, thereafter adjourned at 1917 Hrs. until 1300 Hrs. on Thursday 11th August 2011.
