Second Reading of the following Bills (appearing as Item Nos. 20 to 23 of today’s Order Paper) were moved by the House and referred to the Standing Committee (Legislative) “A”:-

• Samanalagiri Satharanga (Nadi) Medical Council (Incorporation)
• Olagangala Maha Sudarshana Paropakari Foundation (Incorporation)
• Lester James Peries and Sumitra Peries Foundation (Incorporation)
• State Employees’ Development Finance Corporation (Incorporation)


Motion at the Adjournment Time

Motion at the Adjournment time on “Compensation for land slide victims in Kegalle” was moved by the Hon. Y.G. Padmasiri.


The Parliament was, thereafter adjourned at 1831 Hrs. until 1330 Hrs. on Friday 24th June 2011.
