The Hon. (Mrs) Sriyani Wijewickrama was granted leave to introduce the Bill, entitled "Jayanthipura Subasadaka Sangamaya (Incorporation)".


Main Business of the House for Today

Following Items (appearing as Item Nos. 1 and 2 of today’s Order Paper) were passed by the House:-

• Regulations under the Intellectual Property Act
• Regulations under the Animal Act


Motion at the Adjournment Time

Motion at the Adjournment Time on “Production of Fisheries Resources” was moved by the Hon. Victor Antony.


The Parliament was, thereafter adjourned at 1858 Hrs. until 1330 Hrs. on Friday 10th June 2011.
