Presentation of Bills

Control of Pesticides (Amendment)

The Hon. Chief Government Whip of Parliament on behalf of the Hon. Minister of Agriculture moved a Bill to amend the Control of Pesticides Act, No. 33 of 1980.


The Hon. Victor Antony was granted leave to introduce the Bill, entitled "Sri Lanka Association for Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (Incorporation)".


Motion at the Adjournment Time

Motion at the Adjournment Time on "School Uniform material for 2011" was moved by the Hon. Ajith Kumara.


The Parliament was, thereafter adjourned at 1357 Hrs. until 1300 Hrs. on Tuesday 3rd May 2011.
