The following Items (appearing as Item Nos. 1 and 2 of today’s Order Paper) were passed by the House:-

(i) Widows’ and Orphans’ Pension Scheme (Armed Forces) (Amendment) Bill
(ii) Widowers’ and Orphans’ Pension Scheme (Armed Forces) (Amendment) Bill


Motion at Adjournment Time

Motion at Adjournment Time on “Establishment of Special Economic Centres at Ratmalana, Battaramulla and Peliyagoda” was moved by the Hon. Lalith Dissanayake.


The Parliament was, thereafter adjourned at 1558 Hrs. until 0930 Hrs. on Friday 20th March 2009.
