Main Business of the House for Today

The following items (appearing as Nos. (1) to (3) of today’s Order Paper) were passed by the House:-

(i) Regulations under the Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Act
(ii) Two (2) Regulations under the National Aquaculture Development Authority of Sri Lanka Act


Motion at Adjournment Time
Committee on Parliamentary Business, after discussion, agreed to postpone the Adjournment debate proposed for this day, at its meeting held on 26.09.2008 at 11.20 a.m.


The Parliament was, adjourned at 1455 Hrs. until 0930 Hrs. on Tuesday 7th October 2008.
