(ii) The Report of the Sectoral Oversight Committee on Business and Commerce was presented by the Hon. K. K. Piyadasa, member of the Committee on behalf of the Chairman of the Committee, the Hon. Seyed Ali Zahir Moulana.
(iii) The Report of the Sectoral Oversight Committee on International Relations was presented by its Chairman, the Hon. Ranjith Aluvihare.
(iv) The Report of the Committee on Public Finance was presented by its Chairman, the Hon. M. A. Sumanthiran.

Ministerial Statements
Hon. Duminda Dissanayake, Minister of Agriculture replied to the Question raised by the Hon. Anura Dissanayaka under Standing Order 23(2) of the Parliament on 28.07.2017 regarding the Consignment of the Production of Agricultural seeds to a foreign company.
Private Members’ Bills

The above Bills (i) and (ii) were referred to the Minister of Social Empowerment, Welfare and Kandyan Heritage for report to Parliament under Standing Order 47(5) of the Parliament.
Main Business of the House for Today
The following Items (appearing as Item Nos. 1 and 2 of today’s Order Paper) were passed by the House:-
(i) Regulations under the Marine Pollution Prevention Act
(ii) Revision of Salaries and Allowances to the Chairperson of the Human Rights Commission of Sri Lanka
Motion at the Adjournment Time
Motion at the Adjournment Time on “Possibility of taking over of Kinniya and Muttur Base Hospitals from the Eastern Provincial Council to the Central Government” was proposed by the Hon. Imran Maharoof.
The Parliament was, thereafter adjourned at 1834 Hrs. until 1030 Hrs. on Thursday 10th August 2017.
