Main Business of the House for Today
The following Items (appearing as Item Nos. 1 and 2 of today’s Order Paper) were passed by the House:-
(i) Revision of Salary and Allowances of the Director-General of the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption
(ii) Emoluments and Other Allowances being paid to Chairmen and Members of Independent Commissions (Division was taken. 68 in favour and no votes against)
The Parliament was, thereafter adjourned at 1837 Hrs. until 1030 Hrs. on Thursday 22nd September 2016.
