The following Motion (appearing as Item No. 1 of today’s Order Paper) was debated and adjourned:-
Training workers required for the job market
That this Parliament resolves that the task of initiating a methodology for the training of workers required for the new employment opportunities generated in future Sri Lanka be commenced by all tertiary educational institutions in the country.
Second Reading of the following Bills (appearing as Item Nos. 117 to 119 of today’s Order Paper) were passed by the House and referred to the Standing Committee (Legislative) “B”:-
(i) Al-Jamiathul Ghawsiyyah (Incorporation)
(ii) Champika Premadasa Community Development Foundation (Incorporation)
(iii) Chamber of Construction Industry of Sri Lanka (Incorporation)
The Parliament was, thereafter adjourned at 1510 Hrs. until 0930 Hrs. on Monday 20th April 2015.
