expressed their sympathies on the death of the Hon. Lee Kuan Yew, the former Prime Minister of Singapore.


Presentation of Bills

The Hon. Prime Minister and Minister of Policy Planning, Economic Affairs, Child, Youth and Cultural Affairs moved the Bill entitled

“Nineteenth Amendment to the Constitution”

to amend the Constitution of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.


Adjournment Motion

Adjournment Motion on “Harassment to the Trade Union activists and recent transfers of the Department of Police” was moved by the Hon. Nimal Siripala de Silva.


The Parliament was, thereafter adjourned at 1750 Hrs. until 1300 Hrs. on Tuesday 7th April 2015.
