Hon. Jayantha Samaraweera,— To ask the Minister of Highways & Road Development,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) of the dates on which the project for the expansion and development of Wadduwa-Moronthuduwa road from Wadduwa junction to Moronthuduwa Junction is proposed to be commenced and completed;
(ii) of the total area of the said road and the width of the extent which has been tarred;
(iii) of the width of the extent which is expected to be carpeted and the total width of the road after completing the development; and
(iv) of the number of bridges and culverts that are developed?
(b) Will he also inform this House—
(i) of the total estimate for the said road project ;
(ii) of the amount that has been allocated as compensation for lands and property, out of the above estimate;
(iii) of the amount of money allocated for the construction purpose; and
(iv) as to who has undertaken the construction activity?
(c) If not, why?
