Hon. (Dr.) Nalinda Jayathissa,—To ask the Minister of Higher Education & Cultural Affairs,—
(a) Will he inform this House of the number of degree awarding institutions in Sri Lanka at present?
(b) Will he also inform this House separately of —
(i) the address;
(ii) the date on which approval has been obtained from the University Grants Commission to award degrees;
(iii) the degrees awarded;
(iv) the number of undergraduates in them; and
(v) the fee charged for each degree course;
with respect to each of the said institutions?
(c) If not, why?
