Hon. (Dr.) Nalinda Jayathissa,—To ask the Minister of Public Administration & Management and Law & Order,—
(a) Will he inform this House —
(i) of the date on which the Financial Crimes Investigation Division (FCID) was established;
(ii) of the total number of complaints that had been received by the FCID as at 01.08.2017;
(iii) out of those complaints, of the number of those that have been referred to the Attorney General’s Department after completing investigations; and
(iv) separately of the details of each of those complaints and of the dates on which each of those complaints was referred to the Attorney Generals Department?
(b) If not, why?
