Hon. Ananda Aluthgamage,— To ask the Minister of Education,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) of the number of National schools in Kandy district;
(ii) of the names and addresses of those schools;
(iii) of the number of students studying and the number of teachers serving in each of those schools, separately;
(iv) of the number of vacancies for teachers that exists in those schools;
(v) whether the Ministry has paid attention to increase the number of National schools in Kandy district;
(vi) of the steps taken by the Ministry to develop the physical and human resources of the National schools in Kandy district?
(b) If not, why?
