Hon. (Mrs.) Rosy Senanayake,— To ask the Minister of Health,—
(a) Will he admit that there are children with nutritional deficiencies in Sri Lanka?
(b) Will he state —
(i) the number of children who are suffering from malnutrition in Sri Lanka;
(ii) the number of children who are suffering from malnutrition in Northern and Eastern area?
(c) Will he inform the House of —
(i) the programmes implemented under the Ministry of Health to enhance the nutrition of children; and
(ii) the number of beneficiaries under those programmes?
(d) If not, why?
