Hon. Shantha Bandara,— To ask the Minister of Water Supply and Drainage,—
(a) Will he admit that there are several areas within the Divisional Secretariat Division of Narammala in Kurunegala district in which drinking water requirement needs to be met?
(b) Will he state the steps taken by now to meet the above mentioned drinking water requirements?
(c) Will he admit that —
(i) a special water project has been started in Dambadeniya area; and
(ii) only the first phase of that project has been completed ?
(d) Will he state whether steps will be taken to start the second phase of the above mentioned project?
(e) If not, why?
