Hon. Seyed Ali Zahir Moulana,— To ask the Minister of Education,—
(a) Will he inform this House number and names of courses medium-wise, conducted in Colleges of Education in Sri Lanka;
(b) Will he also inform this House—
(i) names of courses conducted at Batticaloa College of Education;
(ii) number of trainees undergoing training in each course;
(iii) of the reason that the other possible Tamil medium courses are not conducted at Batticaloa College of Education;
(iv) whether action will be taken to admit students for other feasible Tamil medium courses at Batticaloa College of Education;
(v) whether suitable lecturers are not available to commence such courses; and
(vi) if so, action will be taken to appoint such category of lecturers?
(c) If not, why?
