Hon. Imran Maharoof,— To ask the Minister of Agriculture,—
(a) Will he submit to this House—
(i) the financial allocations made for the Trincomalee district for developing small irrigational tanks in 2012, 2013 and 2014, in relation to each Agrarian Service division and year separately;and
(ii) the tanks developed by utilizing those allocations and the amount of money spent on them, separately?
(b) Will he inform this House—
(i) whether there has been an increase in the paddy harvest owing to these development activities;
(ii) if so, the volume of increase;
(iii) whether this increase is commensurate with the financial allocations spent; and
(iv) if not, the reasons for that?
(c) Will he also inform this House—
(i) whether any follow up has been made on those development activities as the farmers complain that the programmes that were carried out during the above years have not been done in the proper manner;
(ii) if so, the details of such follow up; and
(iii) if not, whether steps will be taken to follow up on these development activities?
(d) If not, why?

දිස්ත්රික්ක වෙත ප්රතිපාදන වෙන් කිරීමේදී ඉදිරිපත්ව ඇති ප්රතිසංස්කරණ යෝජනා අනුව වර්ෂය තුළ දිස්ත්රික්කය සඳහා වෙන් කරන ලද සමස්ත ප්රතිපාදන ප්රමාණ එක් එක් මධ්යස්ථාන මට්ටමින් ප්රමුඛතාව අනුව හඳුනාගත් කර්මාන්ත සඳහා ප්රතිපාදන වෙන් කිරීම කරනු ලැබේ. එම ප්රතිපාදන ප්රාදේශීය සංවර්ධන කමිටු හා දිස්ත්රික් සංවර්ධන කමිටු තීරණ මත පවතින අවශ්යතාව අනුව එක් එක් ගොවිජන සේවා මධ්යස්ථාන වෙත වෙන් කර ඇති අතර දිස්ත්රික්කය වෙත ලබා දී ඇති මුළු ප්රතිපාදන ප්රමාණය නොඉක්මවන පරිදි අදාළ වර්ෂය තුළ ව්යාපෘති ක්රියාත්මක කොට වියදම් දරා ඇත.
(ii) ඔව්. විස්තර ඇතුළත් ලේඛනයක්* ඇත.
(ආ) (i) සිදු වී ඇත.
(ii) වගා කළ භූමි ප්රමාණය හෙක්ටයාර්වලින් දක්වා ඇත.

2014 / 2015 මහ කන්නයේදී වැසි අධික වීම හේතුකොටගෙන ඇති වූ ගංවතුර තත්ත්වය නිසා මහ කන්නයේදී වගාකළ කුඹුරු ඉඩම් බොහොමයක් හානියට පත් විය. 2014 මහ කන්නයේ වගා කළ භූමි ප්රමාණයේ පහළ යෑමට එම හේතුව එය වේ.
2013 / 2014 මහ කන්නය සහ 2014 යල කන්නය තුළදී වැසි නොලැබීම නිසාවෙන් පැවති නියං කාලගුණික තත්ත්වය නිසා යල කන්නයේදී වගා කළ කුඹුරු ඉඩම් හානියට පත් විය. 2014 වර්ෂයේ යල කන්නයේ වගා භූමි ප්රමාණය ශුන්ය අගයක් ගැනීමට හේතුව එය වේ.
(iii) ප්රමාණවත් වේ.
(iv) අදාළ නොවේ.
(ඇ) (i) ඉහත සඳහන් සියලු සංවර්ධන ව්යාපෘති ගොවි සංවිධාන හරහා සිදු කරන ලදී. ඒ අනුව අප අමාත්යාංශය වෙත හෝ ගොවිජන සංවර්ධන දෙපාර්තමේන්තු ප්රධාන කාර්යාලය වෙත හෝ දිස්ත්රික් කාර්යාල වෙත මෙතෙක් කිසිදු පැමිණිල්ලක් හෝ චෝදනාවක් ඉදරිපත් කර නොමැත.
(ii) අදාළ නොවේ.
(iii) අදාළ නොවේ.
(ඈ) අදාළ නොවේ.
