Hon. Buddhika Pathirana,— To ask the Minister of Health, Nutrition and Indigenous Medicine,—
(a) Will he state that—
(i) the number of kidney patients reported from Southern Province in the years 2015 and 2016;
(ii) therefore, the district of the Southern Province where majority of kidney patients are being reported; and
(iii) main reasons behind the kidney disease reported from Southern Province?
(b) Will he inform this House—
(i) whether the government has taken measures to provide aid for the kidney patients;
(ii) if so, the aid provided;
(iii) whether measures have been take to prevent the kidney disease in Southern Province; and
(iv) if so, what such measures are?
(c) If not, why?
