Hon. Udaya Prabath Gammanpila,— To ask the Prime Minister and Minister of National Policies and Economic Affairs,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) whether the Government has any definite policy about local air navigation;
(ii) what Government-post holders are entitled to use helicopters of the Sri Lanka Air Force free of charge;
(iii) what Government institutions are entitled to use helicopters of the Sri Lanka Air Force free of charge;
(iv) what persons bear Government positions that enable them to local travel by air using Government funds; and
(v) what government Ministers, Members of Parliament and officers travelled by air locally using funds from the Government, State Corporations or state-owned Companies from 09.01.2015 to 31.10.2016, what times they made these journeys, what occasioned the visits and what costs they incurred, separately?
(b) If not, why?
