1164/2017: RESETTLED PEOPLE OF KATPAHAPURAM VILLAGE IN VAVUNIYA: BASIC FACILITIES

Hon. Douglas Devananda,—To ask the Minister of Prisons Reforms, Rehabilitation, Resettlement and Hindu Religious Affairs,—

(a) Is he aware that—

(i) the people in Katpahapuram village in Sampaimadu Grama Niladhari Division in Vavuniya Divisional Secretariat Division were displaced in 1990 due to the war;

(ii) out of those families who were displaced, 130 families were resettled in the year 2009, without any basic facilities; and

(iii) they have not received Government relief or Housing scheme yet?

(b) Will he inform this House—

(i) whether necessary action will be taken to provide these people with a housing scheme and other necessary assistance for the persons who have been resettled; and

(ii) if so, what those actions are?

(iii) බන්ධනාගාර ප්‍රතිසංස්කරණ, පුනරුත්ථාපන, නැවත පදිංචි කිරීම හා හින්දු ආගමික කටයුතු අමාත්‍යාංශයේ මූල්‍යාධාර යටතේ කට්පහපුරම් ගම්මානයට අයත් ප්‍රතිලාභීන් 06 දෙනෙකුට 2016 වර්ෂය තුළ පවුල් ඒකකයකට රුපියල් 100,000ක් බැගින් ජීවනෝපාය ආධාර පහත සඳහන් ආකාරයට දෙන ලදී.

ළිං ඉදිකිරීමට - ප්‍රතිලාභීන් සිව් දෙනෙකුට දීලා තිබෙනවා.

යතුරුපැදි - එක් ප්‍රතිලාභියෙකුට දීලා තිබෙනවා.

කෘෂි උපකරණ - එක් ප්‍රතිලාභියෙකුට දීලා තිබෙනවා

* අප අමාත්‍යාංශය විසින් ප්‍රතිලාභීන් 32කට 2016 වසරේදී මෙම ගම්මානය තුළ වැසිකිළි ඉදිකර දී ඇත.

* අප අමාත්‍යාංශය විසින් 2015 වසරේදී රුපියල් මිලියනයක් වටිනා මාතෘ - ළදරු සෞඛ්‍ය මධ්‍යස්ථානයක් මෙම ගම්මානය තුළ ඉදිකර දී ඇත.

(ආ) (i) ඔව්.

(ii) උතුරු-නැ‍ඟෙනහිර පළාත් තුළ පැවැති යුද්ධය හේතුවෙන් විපතට පත් ජනතාව වෙනුවෙන් අප අමාත්‍යාංශය විසින් ක්‍රියාත්මක කරනු ලබන සංවර්ධන වැඩ පිළිවෙළ සඳහා ප්‍රතිලාභීන් තෝරා ගැනීම සිදු කරනු ලබන්නේ අමාත්‍යාංශයේ ප්‍රතිලාභීන් තෝරා ගැනීමේ නිර්ණායකවලට අනුකූලවය.

මෙම නිර්ණායක යටතේ කට්පහපුරම් ගම්මානයේ ජනතාව ප්‍රතිලාභීන් හැටියට තෝරා ගනු ලැබුවහොත් ඔවුන්ට අවශ්‍ය සියලු සහනාධාර ලබාදීමට අප අමාත්‍යාංශය කටයුතු කරනු ඇතැයි ප්‍රකාශ කරමි. අවසන් යුද්ධය පැවැති වකවානුව තුළ මුළුමනින්ම විපතට පත්වූ ගම්මානවලට අප අමාත්‍යාංශයේ සංවර්ධන වැඩ පිළිවෙළ යටතේ ප්‍රමුඛත්වයක් ලබා දෙන බවද පෙන්වා දෙනු කැමැත්තෙමි.
