Hon. (Dr.) Nalinda Jayathissa,—To ask the Minister of Ports and Shipping,—
(a) Will he inform this House —
(i) whether Sri Lanka Ports Authority has taken measures to sell old iron, from the year 2011 to 2015;
(ii) if so, whether tenders were called in that regard ;
(iii) separately, of the quantity of iron, sold during the years from 2011 to 2015 and the prices;
(iv) separately, of the individuals, purchased aforesaid iron and the quantity; and
(v) of the loss incurred by Sri Lanka Ports Authority, by reason of selling aforesaid iron below the market value?
(b) If not, why?
