Hon. Buddhika Pathirana,—To ask the Minister of Industry and Commerce,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) of to the quantity of dates that was imported to Sri Lanka during the year 2015; and
(ii) the major countries from which dates are imported to Sri Lanka?
(b) Will he also inform this House—
(i) whether the standard of dates is inspected when they are imported;
(ii) if so, how it is done; and
(iii) what amount of money was spent for importing dates during the year 2015?
(c) If not, why?
